Colgan High School in Manassas, Virginia now boasts a comprehensive aquatic facility designed to support both competitive athletics and educational programming. Completed in 2017 in partnership with Counsilman/Hunsaker & Associates, this dual-pool complex features an 8,708 square foot competition pool alongside a 3,136 square foot instructional pool with engaging water features—creating an environment where student athletes can train at competitive levels while younger students build confidence and skills in a more approachable setting.
The thoughtful design separates competitive and instructional activities without sacrificing efficiency, allowing the school to host swim meets while simultaneously running PE classes and swim lessons. Main Line Commercial Pools’ expertise in educational aquatic facilities ensured that both pools meet the rigorous demands of daily school use while providing the flexibility to serve the broader Manassas community for years to come.
